Key Responsibilities

As a Physician Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive physical examinations and reviewing patient medical histories to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Order, analyze, and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood panels and imaging studies, ensuring appropriate follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree with a Master’s degree specifically in Physician Assistant Studies.
  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant, as required by New York state.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a family health clinic or similar healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of family medicine and primary care protocols.
  • Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-focused environment while demonstrating high ethical standards.
  • Current DEA registration number.
Preferred Experience

While the required experience includes at least 2 years in a similar role, preference will be given to candidates who have:

Compensation and Benefits
