Job description

AC4S LLC is seeking an IT Asset Management Analyst to join their team in Northern Virginia. The qualified candidate will perform hardware and software asset management across the full asset life cycle including software end of life. Conducts reconciliation activities, report generation, trend analysis, and periodic inventory reviews.

Confirms compliant assets are securely stored within two business days and reports discrepancies to DT/EA/CST within one business day. Conducts periodic audits of installed equipment confirming proper license assignment. Prepares the semi-annual software and hardware inventories supporting the Semi-Annual Inventory Report.

Maintains asset records in the ILMS Asset Management module supporting tracking and accountability. Projects hardware and COTS software needs quarterly for three quarters ahead. Applies expertise across multiple complex assignments, exercising appreciable latitude in developing methodology.

Experience and Skills Direct the lifestyle management of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, inventory in compliance with DoW policies, regulations and cybersecurity Manage enterprise hardware and software asset inventoriesm maintain accurate records and accountability for laptops, servers, network equipment, mobile devices Develop and enforce IT asset management policies, SOPs, and governance processes to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen asset accountability Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree - 9 or more years of relevant education/work experience. OR Master of Arts/Master of Science with 7+ years of experience. OR PHD with more than 7 years of experience Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree and 5+ years of experience; OR Master of Arts/Master of Science degree with 3+ years of experience Physical Requirements Footwear: Steel-toe boots or steel-toe protective shoes are required at all times while performing warehouse duties or handling IT equipment.

Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move IT equipment and boxed assets weighing a minimum of 40 pounds . Occasional lifting of items above this weight may be required with proper team-lift procedures. Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday, including walking between storage areas, staging zones, and inventory stations.

Bending, Stooping, and Reaching: Regular bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching to access shelves, pallet racks, and inventory locations. Pushing and Pulling: Ability to push or pull carts, pallet jacks, or other equipment used to transport IT assets within the warehouse environment. Manual Dexterity: Sufficient hand and finger dexterity to safely unbox, label, scan, connect, and prepare IT hardware and accessories.

Environmental Conditions: Ability to work in a warehouse setting with variable temperatures, concrete flooring, and active movement of equipment and personnel. May require use of basic PPE such as gloves or safety glasses depending on task. Equipment Operation (if applicable): Ability to safely operate non-powered material handling equipment (e.g., carts, dollies, pallet jacks)
