Job description

The Supply Planner I will create, manage and maintain purchase orders and inventory across all Readerlink distribution centers.
What You Will Be Doing: 

  • Create, maintain, and track purchase orders across all publishers and ReaderLink Distribution Centers to ensure on-time and accurate delivery.
  • Review and resolve quarantine inventory.
  • Enter and maintain items into F&O.
  • Communication of all product discrepancies between Supply Planning, Sales, and Marketing teams.
  • Help build and maintain long-term relationships with our publishers and licensors.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and work extra hours to keep projects on schedule.
  • Other duties may be assigned, directed, or requested.

What You Will Be Doing: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or related business subject required.
  • Previous buying or inventory experience is preferred.
  • Experience with working with the F&O system is preferred.
  • Strong to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
  • High energy level with the ability to keep multiple projects on schedule.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to speak with all levels of the organization and outside partners.
  • Must be proficient in basic mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to do algebra, calculate figures and amounts, and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • A methodical and organized approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • The work performed is in an office environment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibels.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Employee is occasionally exposed to vibration and dust.
Salary: $50,000.00 - $58,000.00
