Job description

Job Description:
Responsible for inputting, correcting, and analyzing documents.
Verify physical inventory and convert units of measures and work with procurement and master data team as needed.
 Assist with the maintenance and deactivation of material masters within the kitting production environment
 Assist with the maintenance and deactivation of Bill of Materials within the kitting production environment.
 Works closely with Project Management, Procurement, Planning, Materials and a variety of other internal teams.
 Solve complex material data problems, including unit of measure issues, pricing discrepancies, and other possible material issues based on data requirements of materials.
Ensure vendor data is correct for trading goods.
Continuously works to maintain material data by working with teams to ensure data accuracy for materials, new and existing.
Maintains pricing data for trading goods.
Develops and maintains strong working relationships with other internal teams.
Performs regular data audits to maintain data integrity.
Performs other duties assigned; including special projects within their skillset.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Follow all assigned SOPs.
Complete all daily orders including picking and unloading inventory
Ensure proper shipping label or labels are applied to the correct packages and FOB matches shipping preferences on the pick ticket; apply label(s) to packaging.
Perform and sign-off on specific inspection criteria from the point of picking orders, pulling supplies, and printing supplies to avoid shipping errors.
May print and scan pick and pack slips.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
Ability to follow directions and pay close attention to detail
Ability to match like numbers
Basic understanding of computer programs
Education and Experience:
High School completion or equivalent (GED)
Previous experience with warehousing or shipping systems desirable
Physical Requirements:
The work environment characteristics and physical effort described here are representative of those associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is exposed to an industrial warehouse environment. The associate works near moving mechanical machinery and noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The job requires working in heights, exposure to changes in temperature, driving equipment, and maybe exposed to dust.
The associate is required to stand and walk for most of the working day. The physical requirements of the job are for associates to talk, hear, bend/stoop, squat, reach above shoulder height, crouch, kneel, balance, and push/pull. Furthermore, the job requires associates to lift/carry/push or pull up to 50 pounds with or without assistance. Associates use both hands for repetitive actions such as grasping and manipulating as well as both feet for repetitive movement. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
