The business unit supports customers across the Department of Defense, federal civilian agencies, and commercial partners, delivering innovative solutions that enhance mission readiness, operational effectiveness, and long-term mission success.

Job Summary

The Demand and Provision Planner provides planning and analytical support for demand forecasting, provisioning, inventory planning, and sustainment coordination activities in support of ILS2 Task Order execution. This role supports operational readiness and continuity of sustainment operations through demand analysis, usage forecasting, inventory planning, and logistics coordination across distributed mission environments.

Working closely with logistics personnel, supply chain teams, operational stakeholders, and government representatives, the Demand and Provision Planner helps identify supply requirements, supports replenishment planning efforts, and ensures sustainment resources are available to meet mission needs. Through data-driven analysis, proactive planning, and coordination of provisioning activities, this position contributes to mission success by maintaining responsive and effective sustainment support capabilities for Task 2 operations.

This position is contingent upon award of the contract.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct demand analysis, usage forecasting, and provisioning assessments to support operational readiness and sustainment requirements.
  • Assist in identifying supply requirements, inventory replenishment needs, and stock level targets to support mission execution.
  • Support inventory planning activities, including demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and resource allocation coordination.
  • Coordinate with logistics personnel, supply chain teams, operational stakeholders, and government representatives to facilitate timely provisioning and sustainment support.
  • Prepare inventory planning reports, logistics assessments, provisioning documentation, and sustainment-related recommendations.
  • Monitor inventory trends, consumption patterns, and forecasting data to identify potential shortages, excess inventory, or operational risks.
  • Support implementation and maintenance of inventory management procedures, forecasting methodologies, and provisioning processes.
  • Assist in sustaining accurate inventory data, planning records, and logistics support documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on forecasting accuracy, inventory management effectiveness, and sustainment readiness.

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration or related field and 2 years of experience. In lieu of formal education, at least 10 years of progressive experience in a related field. 4 years of specialized military experience in the relative field can be substituted for a BA/BS degree.
  • Experience supporting inventory planning, demand forecasting, supply chain operations, logistics planning, or sustainment activities.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles, forecasting methodologies, provisioning processes, and supply chain operations.
  • Experience analyzing operational data and developing reports to support planning and decision-making.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic operational environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting DoD, federal government, logistics, sustainment, or operational support programs.
  • Knowledge of inventory control systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, or supply chain management applications.
  • Experience with demand forecasting models, inventory optimization techniques, or provisioning analysis.
  • Familiarity with readiness reporting, sustainment planning, and resource allocation processes.
  • Experience supporting geographically dispersed operations and mission-critical programs.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM), Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD), or similar credentials.

The expected salary range for this position in Hawaii is $69,900 - $104,800 (update as required). Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, work location, and other job-related factors. This range is provided in accordance with Hawaii pay transparency requirements and applies to candidates working in Hawaii.
