As a Physical Therapist Assistant within our Newark hospital setting, you will work directly with patients in an engaging and supportive atmosphere. The typical work schedule for this role is from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to meet patient needs and clinic operations.

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in executing individual treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, including therapeutic exercises and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Perform routine treatment procedures as directed by the supervising PT, ensuring adherence to established protocols while continually monitoring patient responses.
• Maintain meticulous and accurate records of patient progress, documenting conditions, reactions, and responses to treatment on a regular basis to facilitate effective communication within the care team.
• Provide immediate feedback to the supervising PT regarding any notable findings, enabling dynamic adjustments to care plans as needed.
• Assist with the maintenance and organization of physical therapy equipment and spaces to ensure a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment.
