About the Role:
Aziz Law Firm PC is looking for a talented and driven Bilingual Immigration Paralegal to join their growing team in Charlotte, NC. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in clients' lives by helping navigate the complexities of U.S. immigration law. If you're passionate about immigration advocacy and thrive in a fast-paced legal environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation (visas, green cards, asylum, naturalization, etc.)
  • Communicate directly with clients in English and a second language to gather case information and provide status updates
  • Draft correspondence, legal briefs, and cover letters for attorney review
  • Manage and maintain case files, deadlines, and docket calendars using case management software
  • Conduct client intake interviews and assess immigration needs under attorney supervision
  • Coordinate with government agencies including USCIS, DOL, and immigration courts
  • Research immigration laws, regulations, and policy updates to support case strategy
Requirements:
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (or another language) — written and verbal
  • 1+ years of experience in immigration law or a paralegal role preferred
  • Familiarity with USCIS forms, immigration processes, and federal/state filing procedures
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Compassionate, client-focused demeanor with a commitment to serving diverse communities
