Job Title:

  • HVAC Install Helper

Position Summary:

ECM (East Coast Mechanical) is seeking a motivated HVAC Install Helper to join our growing team. This entry-level position supports our technicians and installers with residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning projects. The role offers hands-on training and advancement opportunities for individuals interested in building a long-term career in the HVAC trade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist HVAC technicians and installers with system installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
  • Prepare and maintain job sites, ensuring all safety standards and company procedures are followed.
  • Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment for each project.
  • Help with ductwork fabrication, assembly, and sealing.
  • Support testing, troubleshooting, and start-up of HVAC systems.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and work areas in clean and organized condition.
  • Follow direction from lead technicians and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Represent Mid-Fla Heating & Air with professionalism and strong customer service.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn the HVAC trade.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying conditions (attics, crawl spaces, outdoors, heat).
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
