Job Summary:
The Receptionist/Human Resources Clerk is responsible for answering the main switchboard and greeting visitors. They will be responsible for clerical assistance to the Human Resources department and assist with testing, basic data entry, and daily filing.

Essential Functions:
  • Maintain a professional appearance of the lobby area.
  • Sort, distribute and process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Maintain office bulletin boards.
  • Answer switchboard and connect caller to correct extension or department and page as necessary.
  • Provide administrative assistance to human resource and other departments as required.
  • Greet visitors, maintains visitor logbook and notifies the appropriate company personnel of visitor(s) arrival.
  • Prepare courier air bills, coordinates shipments and verifies billing.
  • Support employment process by creating new employee files, coordinates badges and collecting paperwork.
  • Monitor, order, and maintain office supplies.
  • Track and maintain employee time cards and consolidate necessary information for payroll.
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, copying and faxing.
  • Maintain and track all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) logs and I-9's
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One to two years of experience.
  • Must possess excellent communication, business writing and organizational skills.
  • A general knowledge of Adobe applications, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes and AS400 is required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
