Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team for a 4-6-month temporary role.
In this position, you will serve as a vital link between our employees and our business goals, managing a wide range of HR responsibilities. From coordinating benefits enrollment and maintaining HRIS data integrity to supporting day-to-day HR operations, you will play a key role in ensuring a positive employee experience. This role will be based in our Fall River, MA office.
Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain electronic personnel files, employee job descriptions, and offboarding paperwork
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding by processing and tracking pre-employment and new hire tasks and paperwork
  • Maintain and track HR expenses
  • Coordinate employee recognition program
  • Prepare monthly G&A vacation spreadsheet
  • Schedule HR events, trainings, and new hire orientations
  • Maintain HR employee status and recruiting reports
  • Track employee goals in performance management system and coordinate 30-day new hire check-ins
  • Assist in coordinating performance management cycles and open enrollment
  • Assist with audits and additional HRIS reporting as needed

Qualifications
  • The ability to handle details of a highly confidential and critical nature
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Proven organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • The ability to prioritize and work well in a fast-paced and growing environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Education/Experience:
  • BS/BA, AA/AS, or High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • 2+ years of administrative experience

Compensation Statement
The expected base salary for this position is: $42350.00 to $55000.00. We are committed to compensating employees equitably based on several factors including experience, education, licensure/certifications, skill level, location of the position, and availability of similar talent in a competitive market.
Subject to eligibility and applicable plan terms, compensation includes base salary, annual discretionary bonus, long term incentive, 401(K) plan with employer contribution, health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.
