About the Job
We are offering a $500.00 sign on bonus!
We are seeking to hiring a part time (30 hours per week) Human Resources Coordinator to providing support in functional areas of the HR Department, which includes recruitment and employment, Human Resource records, clerical, and other support as needed.
The schedule for this position is Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The starting pay range is $23.00 to $24.00 per hour.
The responsibilities for this position include the following:
  • Coordinate the onboarding process, assisting with reference checks, pre-employment physicals/drug screens and ensure all pre-employment requirements are met.
  • Represent and promote organization to potential applicants by providing information, responding to questions, and collecting applicant data.
  • Assist with coordinating yearly United Way Campaign and tracking of donations in excel.
  • Coordinate the new hire process, including new employee orientation, and entering data for new hires into Paylocity, Carelogic and e-Verify. Ensure license, certification, TB, CPR, First Aide, drivers' license, and other data needed for regulatory compliance is entered. Communicate new hire information to other departments.
  • Coordinate random drug screening process and document consistently, including scheduling random testing.
  • Maintains and creates HR reporting, by analyzing and tracking data in excel.
  • Assist with advertising and marketing preparations for job fairs and other employee events.
  • Ensure all files are compliant with government laws as advised by the Director of Human Resources. Assist in maintaining all HR files including restricted and confidential material.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating staff licensure and credentials, TB, CPR, First Aide, and other data related to regulatory requirements.
  • Provide prompt response to employees and leadership regarding HR questions and information.
  • Provide clerical support, including ordering supplies, completing employment verifications, and ensuring that employee documentation is filed appropriately.
  • Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail such as sorting, posting etc.
  • Perform clerical tasks as assigned, including maintaining the employee Sunshine fund.
  • Maintain open communication with Director of Human Resources and H.R. Generalist of any potential problems.
  • Provide support to other HR functions as needed, recruiting backup, CORI processing and benefit administration.
Education and Experience requirements:
  • Up to 1 year HR experience or College education in similar field.
  • Office experience required with some basic HR knowledge.
  • Experience working with HR database required.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills required.
  • Proficient in MS Office.

Must be able to successfully complete a MA State CORI check, CPS check
