    The HR Compliance & Workforce Specialist supports day-to-day Human Resources operations for Pediatric Therapy Associates, with an emphasis on employee onboarding, workforce compliance, credentialing coordination, payroll review, training requirements, and HR documentation.

    This position helps ensure employees are properly onboarded, required credentials and documentation remain current, payroll information is accurate, and workforce records meet organizational and regulatory requirements.

    Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, confidentiality, organization, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.

    HR Compliance & Workforce Specialist Responsibilities

    Employee Onboarding & HR Administration

  • Coordinate new hire onboarding for clinical and nonclinical employees
  • Ensure completion of required employment and compliance documentation
  • Coordinate employee setup within HR and workforce systems
  • Maintain organized and accurate employee personnel records
  • Track employee documentation and follow up on outstanding requirements
  • Assist with employee status, compensation, and workforce changes
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational information
  • Healthcare Credentialing & Compliance
  • Initiate and track provider credentialing with insurance payers and applicable regulatory agencies
  • Monitor provider CAQH profiles and required updates
  • Track professional licenses, certifications, expirations, and renewals
  • Maintain credentialing and compliance documentation
  • Communicate upcoming requirements and deadlines to employees and leadership
  • Help ensure clinical employees remain compliant with organizational, payer, and regulatory requirements
  • Training & Workforce Compliance
  • Track required employee training and annual compliance requirements
  • Coordinate completion of outstanding training and documentation
  • Maintain accurate compliance records
  • Assist with internal HR and compliance audits
  • Identify missing, incomplete, or expiring workforce documentation and coordinate timely resolution
  • Payroll Review & Workforce Records

  • Review payroll information for accuracy prior to processing
  • Verify employee hours, pay rates, approved changes, and supporting documentation
  • Identify payroll discrepancies and coordinate corrections
  • Maintain appropriate documentation for compensation and workforce changes
  • Assist with workforce reporting and employee record management
  • HR Support & Documentation
  • Assist HR leadership with employee documentation
  • Support documentation related to employee relations matters and investigations
  • Assist with HR policy and procedure updates
  • Prepare HR reports and workforce information as requested
  • Support compliance audits and organizational initiatives
  • Help identify opportunities to improve HR processes, documentation, and workflow

  • Qualifications

    Preferred qualifications include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 24 years of Human Resources, healthcare administration, workforce management, or related experience
  • Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems
  • Paychex experience preferred
  • Healthcare credentialing or provider enrollment experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with CAQH, professional licensure, healthcare compliance, or payer credentialing is a plus
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
  • Sound judgment when handling confidential employee information
  • Strong computer and administrative skills
