Job description

Pediatric Therapy Associates (PTA) is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and motivated Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) to join our growing interdisciplinary therapy team.Whether you’re an experienced pediatric physical therapist or a new graduate PT, you’ll find a supportive environment where mentorship, clinical excellence, collaboration, and work–life balance are genuinely valued.

We provide high-quality, evidence-based pediatric physical therapy for children and young adults ages 0–21. Our PTs work alongside Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide individualized, family-centered care in a positive and engaging environment.

    Work Schedule

    Our predictable schedule is designed to provide consistency and work–life balance.

    Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

    Friday: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM

    Compensation

    We offer highly competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.

    Candidates may have the option of an:
  • Hourly compensation structure
  • Salary compensation structure
  • Relocation assistance is available for qualifying candidates based on contractual terms.

    As a Pediatric Physical Therapist at PTA, you will:
  • Evaluate and treat pediatric patients ages 021
  • Work with children with developmental, orthopedic, neuromuscular, genetic, and other pediatric conditions
  • Develop individualized, evidencebased physical therapy treatment plans
  • Help children improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, motor development, functional independence, and participation
  • Provide parent and caregiver education, home programs, and family training
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation consistent with clinic and payer requirements
  • Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, SpeechLanguage Pathologists, families, physicians, and other members of the child’s care team
  • Participate in team meetings, continuing education, professional development, and clinic initiatives
  • Help create a fun, encouraging, and engaging therapy experience for children
  • Contribute to the positive, collaborative culture of Pediatric Therapy Associates
  • Pediatric Physical Therapist Qualifications

    Required:
  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active state Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure before your start date
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary pediatric therapy team
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification
  • Genuine passion for working with children and families
  • Preferred but not required:
  • Previous pediatric physical therapy experience
  • Clinical rotation or internship experience in pediatrics
  • Experience treating children with developmental, neurological, orthopedic, or genetic conditions
  • New Graduate Physical Therapists Are Welcome
