Assistant, Server - Universal Horror Unleashed

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for delivering best in class guest experience by delivering food and/or beverage to guests. Must have a passion for hospitality, providing attentive and friendly service while interacting with guests with intention to ensure guest satisfaction. Anticipates needs and proactively supports front of house Servers by effectively clearing, sanitizing, setting tables, restocking supplies including utensils, plates, condiments, and delivering food and/or beverages to guests and internal customers. Ensures cleanliness of the furniture, fixtures, and dining areas.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Clears tables as required. Removes dirty dishes from table, gathers all soiled tableware to dish room, cleans and sanitizes tables and chairs according to established service standards.
  • Must have full knowledge of table numbers, seating positions, menu items, ingredients, major allergens, and must be able to describe items to guests.
  • Ensures plates and beverages are properly garnished and meet food quality standards before delivering items and serving to guests.
  • Resets tables according to established specifications. Combines tables together or separates tables during service according to business needs.
  • Maintains guest satisfaction, responds to guest requests, and communicates needs to appropriate team member.
  • Maintains dining room cleanliness including but not limited to cleans, spills, sweeps floors, empties and relines trash cans, cleans bus tubs, cleans dust pans and other equipment.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities (KSAs) required.
  • Must be able to work a flexible and varying schedule based on business demands.
  • Requires poise under pressure, a polished demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a guest facing role.

  • Consistent attendance is a job requirement.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  • Any local or state required certifications or licenses.
  • Must be able to obtain a Non-Gaming work card upon employment.

EDUCATION:
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
  • 2+ years of food server experience is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
