Qualifications:
- Tenure that shows stability in prior roles (no job-hoppers)
- Minimum 2+ years of restaurant management experience (FOH-focused; AGM/Manager level or higher)
- Proven ability to:
- Meet or beat food-cost budgets and control controllable labor while minimizing waste
- Maintain an "A" rating with the NYC Health Department through impeccable sanitation and safety standards
- Oversee full FOH operations and partner closely with BOH (servers, bartenders, hosts, expos, dishwashers)
- Interview, hire, train, coach, and progressively discipline staff, including terminations when necessary
- Manage opening and closing responsibilities as part of a limited group of FOH/BOH managers trusted with the building
- Comfortable working in a very hands-on, high-volume hibachi environment with frequent parties and events
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
