Physical Therapist Assistant (Offering H1B Visa Sponsorship)

Summary:-

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to provide hands-on, evidence-based outpatient care in a supportive, patient-focused environment. You will play an important role in helping patients achieve meaningful outcomes by carrying out treatment plans, progressing exercises, and reinforcing patient education. This is a collaborative clinical position in a fast-paced outpatient setting where quality care and patient advocacy are priorities.

Responsibilities:-

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision and direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.

  • Carry out treatment plans established by the PT, including therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, gait/balance training, manual techniques as directed, and patient education.

  • Treat a broad outpatient caseload with a focus on general orthopedics and post-surgical rehabilitation.

  • Support aquatic therapy treatments as appropriate. PTA typically provides instruction outside the pool; pool entry is only required as needed for patient safety.

  • Progress patients through their plan of care and communicate treatment responses to the supervising PT.

  • Educate patients on home exercise programs, recovery expectations, and safe functional movement.

  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

  • Collaborate with PTs, therapy technicians, and the clinical team to support patient flow and a high-quality patient experience.

Requirements:-

  • Active or eligible Maryland PTA license.

  • Passion for the outpatient orthopedic setting.

  • Interest in utilizing aquatic therapy as a treatment modality; experience is welcome but not required.

  • Hands-on, patient-centered approach to care.

  • Comfortable working with patients across a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and clinical needs.
