Job Title: Graphic Designer / Multimedia Specialist
Location: Huntington Beach, CA
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Pay Rate: $28.75-$37.81/hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer / Multimedia Specialist to support the development of visual communication materials for training, safety, promotional, and internal communication initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, excellent graphic design skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and produce digital media for training, communications, documentation, and promotional purposes.
  • Develop Job Safety Analysis (JSA) templates and process breakdowns.
  • Assist in the creation of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) animations.
  • Create graphics and visual assets for company-wide communications.
  • Edit and manipulate images, illustrations, and digital graphics.
  • Convert graphics between multiple formats and applications (e.g., Illustrator to Microsoft Word).
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality visual content.
  • Manage multiple assignments while meeting tight project deadlines.
  • Ensure consistency with company branding and communication standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or
  • Master's degree with 1+ year of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree may be substituted by:
    • 4 years of related exempt experience, or
    • 8 years of non-related exempt experience.
Required Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Strong knowledge of graphic design principles and image editing.
  • Experience scaling graphics and manipulating photographs.
  • Ability to organize, research, and convert graphics between various software applications.
