Job Summary:
The Graphic Designer, Sr is responsible for creating high-quality visual assets that support Erlanger's marketing, communications, and branding efforts. This role designs across a wide variety of platforms digital and print and ensures that all creative materials meet brand standards, engage the intended audience, and contribute to broader campaign goals.
Working under the supervision of the Art Director, the Graphic Designer, Sr supports the execution of service line campaigns, internal initiatives, Foundation events, public-facing/patient collateral health communications, and organizational storytelling efforts. This position combines production discipline with design creativity and requires a high level of attention to detail, adaptability, and teamwork.
Key Job Responsibilities
Design Execution and Production
-Create a range of visual assets including print collateral, digital ads, event signage, social graphics, presentations, infographics, and internal communications materials.
-Follow established brand guidelines and apply visual standards consistently across all materials.
-Format, export, and prepare final files for digital platforms, print vendors, and internal use.
Campaign and Project Support
-Collaborate with Marketing Strategists, the Content Manager, and Digital team members to ensure cohesive execution of campaign materials.
-Participate in creative briefings, review cycles, and feedback sessions to refine deliverables.
-Adapt templated materials or create custom layouts to meet project-specific needs.
Cross-Functional
-Work closely with the Junior Graphic Designer and under the direction of the Art Director to deliver creative assets efficiently and on time.
-Contribute to projects supporting the Foundation, PR campaigns, public health initiatives, and physician practice branding.
-Maintain open communication with stakeholders and collaborators to ensure clarity of purpose, priority, and expectations.
Brand Stewardship
-Uphold and evolve Erlanger's visual identity, ensuring that all designs reflect the tone, positioning, and professionalism of the organization.
-Contribute new ideas and design innovations that enhance the systems creative impact.
-Stay current on industry trends, design tools, and healthcare marketing practices.
System-Wide Design Support
-Respond to requests from departments across the organization that require templated or custom design support, in alignment with priorities set by the Creative and Marketing teams.
-Assist in the development of campaign-specific brand extensions and design systems
