Job description

Position Summary
The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating high-quality visual communications that support the organization's marketing, communications, recruitment, and community outreach efforts. This position develops creative assets across print and digital platforms while providing photography, videography, and multimedia support as needed. Working closely with the Multimedia Specialist and the Marketing team, this role helps ensure consistent branding and compelling visual communications across all marketing channels.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Design and produce marketing materials including advertisements, brochures, flyers, billboards, signage, presentations, direct mail, promotional items, and other print and digital collateral.
  • Create graphics and visual assets for websites, email marketing campaigns, social media, and digital advertising.
  • Ensure all creative materials align with organizational branding standards and visual identity guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop creative concepts that support service line marketing, physician recruitment, community outreach, and organizational campaigns.
  • Coordinate with printers, vendors, and outside partners to ensure quality production and timely delivery.
  • Assist with photography and videography projects as needed, including serving as a second photographer or production assistant during events, physician shoots, and marketing initiatives.
  • Perform basic photo and video editing as needed.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Stay current on graphic design trends, software, and best practices.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Multimedia Design, or a related field preferred.
  • Two or more years of professional graphic design experience preferred.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating print and digital design capabilities.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, branding, and visual communication principles.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Basic photography and video editing skills.
  • Experience with Canva.
  • Healthcare marketing experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and transport materials or equipment up to 25 pounds.
