Specific Duties:
  • Assist fitness manager in booking Kickoffs and activation PT programs. Supports manager and desk staff in attaining kick off booked and showed goals: Activations Marketing & PT 
  • Professional Development - assist in the growth of trainer education and application of best practices and training efficacy 
  • Productivity Management - assist the fitness manager in facilitating the daily productivity of the training team. Ensures the consistency of trainer prospecting for kickoffs, new client leads and retention of current trainer clients.
  • New Hires - work with the new trainers on completing onboarding checklist/training how to succeed and held accountable to the business plan
  • Manager on Duty - be the primary person in working with the staff and members when other management personnel is not available

  • Attend to all details and responsibilities of the position in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
  • Uphold club protocol and procedures in a tactful and positive manner with all members and employees.
  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism, consistency and reliability in regards to attitude, appearance and performance. 
  • Demonstrate strong managerial habits and behaviors.
  • Maintain an excellent attendance record.
  • Work Ethic - display a sense of readiness, resourcefulness and honesty.
  • Punctuality - arrive 5-10 minutes before the assigned shift starting time.
  • Appearance - sharp uniform with name tag, clean and pressed uniform.

  • Interact in a professional manner with other club and staff members.
  • Cope well with stress and maintain personal productivity while under pressure.
  • Maintain a high level of self-motivation!
Communication
  • Communicate problems/concerns to Management contribute to their solution.
  • Requires the ability to communicate with a wide variety of people and the ability to teach and motivate them.
  • Communicate pertinent information to all managers, staff and members in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maximize the quality of the members' experience by communicating and promoting club information with enthusiasm.
  • Promotes club programs externally through public relations & reputation management programs.
  • Informs Management of any equipment needing repair or any hazardous conditions.
  • Handles member's complaints in a professional manner according to procedure.
  • Keep Management informed of equipment recommendations based on member request, staff suggestions, industry trends, usage and daily stat.
Knowledge
  •  Requires fitness background and knowledge of the club including the club's exercise equipment, programs and exercise principles, protocol and culture.
  • Requires ability to manage time effectively, maintain organized thought patterns and an overall sense of good judgment, planning and direction.
  • Maintain CPR/AED Certification.
  • Identify most current fitness and market trends in the industry through conventions, seminars, continuing education programs, books, magazines, competitive analysis, etc.
  • Continued development of leadership skills.
  • Computer experience and proficiency with VFP, Microsoft Word, Publisher, Excel, ABC & VFP
  • Continued development of marketing & sales skills related to promoting programs & services.
  • Perform all fitness related duties with excellence.
  • Continued development of fitness related topics 
Initiative:
  • Innovate ways to increase member roadmap and evaluations
  • Develop/ assist in the development of club functions such as: staff/department meetings/parties, appropriate lectures or workshops and member/guest parties
  • Provide leadership and motivation to all staff.
  • Perform duties with the highest degree of initiative by acting without supervision and routinely reporting suggestions/decisions in meetings with the General Manager.
  • Create interest with new members and older members in helping them optimize their membership & overall club experience.
  • Contributes new information to each department that can enhance performance & effectiveness.
Retention Management:
  • Maintain strong contacts & presence via phone, floor, mail and community.
  • Develop, track and grow on point sessions and Evaluation using VFP
  • Ensure optimization of the percentage of New Members going through their roadmap sessions
  • Coordinate fitness team educational programs including: Certification Programs, seminars, guest speakers, etc.
  • Maintain fitness tracking sheets 
  • Train program specialists on how to properly book roadmaps at POS 
  • Assist Management to Maintain VFP and Data Trak PT process
PT Program Management:
  • To assist in the development of new coaches and Personal Trainers primarily by the example.
  • Ensure that we reach PT and monthly revenue goal.
  • Help the Management hold monthly meeting with PT Training  and follow the informational motivation and educational format
  • Present, build a value and influence all members (new and existing) regarding private services available at Crunch.
  • Continuously develop leads and generate referrals through professional reputation management.
  • Progress on clients new & renewal to be delivered to owner monthly or as requested.
  • Confirm appointments 
  • Mastering the PT software and training staff on its functions.
  • Create awareness of all current fitness incentives and program options.      
Personal Training:
  • Maintain proper file on all clients (paperwork via progress notes)
  • Enforces protocol regarding no shows, CXL, late appointments
  • Properly confirms all scheduled appointments
  • Regularly maintains contact w/ clients via phone, mail and e-mail.
  • Provide educational material to enhance experience, knowledge and credibility
  • Personal Training sessions must be performed outside the scheduled 

Compensation:

  • Hourly Wage: $18 per hour/based on a maximum of 20 hours per week.
  • 5% of all PT programs sold
  • $100 Bonus for hitting monthly New Cash PT goals
  • 50% for all Paid PT sessions performed


Benefits: Health Benefits & PTO - Refer to Primetime benefits plan
Time Expectations:

  • 20 Hours per week of AFM responsibilities.
  • 10 - 20 hours per week of paid clients personal training hours
  • AFM hours TBD based on working peak hours & supporting FM/GM hours.

Additional expectations: Work 9-9 on the last day of the month (close out) excused if ALL goals are achieved.  Any requested changes in schedule MUST provide in writing & be approved by regional management.
