Job description

Data Entry Specialist

First - Tek is currently seeking a Data Entry Specialist, for a non-profit organization, in the Newport News, VA area. Schedule will be 8am to 5pm, M-F. Data Entry Support

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the administrative functions for programs assigned by COO.
  • Assist all programs with intake, filing, and other duties as assigned.
  • Utilize MS Office tools for collecting and analyzing data

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize conflicting needs while handling matters expeditiously, proactively, and following through on projects to a successful completion.
  • Experience with calendar management, including the coordination of complex executive meetings.
  • Experience making travel arrangements, preparing detailed travel itineraries and agendas.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills: ability to present information professionally, concisely, and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate excellent judgement and ability to solve problems.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Expertise in MS Office-Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Must be willing to consent to a criminal background check and drug screen.
  • High School / GED
  • 2 Years experience min
  • Proof of Covid Vaccination required
