Become a Key Player as an Inspector Senior

You will perform detailed dimensional and visual inspections that ensure parts and assemblies meet engineering and customer requirements. You will impact product quality and production flow by supporting first article and final inspections, working closely with manufacturing, quality, and customer representatives. This is an onsite role on 1st shift (6:00am - 2:30pm).

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Perform semi-complex to complex inspections of machined parts, castings, forgings, and assemblies using precision measuring instruments and inspection set-ups.
  • Layout and measure hole locations and centerlines to maintain control of machining cycles during manufacture.
  • Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and envelope inspections; maintain accurate acceptance and rejection records.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to determine acceptability and recommend paths forward to management.
  • Identify non-conformances, participate in root cause investigations, and prepare required documentation.
  • Achieve and maintain DQR status and independently perform delegated inspection and product release for applicable customers.
  • Support special process witness and sign-off requirements and assist with customer/government source inspections.
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • 3+ years of related aerospace inspection experience or demonstrated ability to perform the listed responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5, AS9100, AS9102, and relevant customer/industry/military standards.
  • Proficiency interpreting complex drawings and shop mathematics (including trigonometry).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively on a team.
