Job description

What Impact You'll Have:

Tailored Access, a GRVTY Company is seeking Systems Administrators to support Department of Defense/IC missions at Fort Meade, MD. You will be responsible for Linux Systems Administration while supporting IC missions that are vital to our national security.

What You'll be Owning

  • Perform Linux system administration functions.
  • Stand up, configure, and maintain Linux servers.
  • Monitoring and patching/upgrades to standard networking resources (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Monitoring and patching/upgrades to servers and VM hardware.
  • Assist and incorporate security compliance controls as applicable.
  • Support documentation of non-applicable controls.
  • Assist with installation of new or replacement hardware or software.
  • Configure and integrate hardware or software with existing networked infrastructure.
  • Assist with decommission and/or removal of obsolete, excess, or replaced hardware.
  • Document inventory changes.

What You Must Have:

  • TS/SCI with polygraph (polygraph must be within last 6 years)
  • 10 years of systems administration experience OR technical bachelor's degree + 5 years of systems administration experience
  • Proficient with Linux. 
  • Minimum of 3 years Linux system administration experience (within the last 3 years).
  • Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources.
  • VM experience
  • Security + cert
