Overview

The Production Control Clerk will compile and record a variety of production data such as use of material, quality control and other aspects of production.

Responsibilities
    Compiles and records production data for industrial establishments to compare records and reports on volume of production
  • Compiles essential information, such as production rates, materials used, inventories and other vital customer information, for the efficient completion of status reports
  • Calculates financial figures, such as required amounts of materials and labor, wages and manufacturing costs, by using pricing schedules, business machines, calculators or computers
  • Performs various production control activities including monitoring customer orders and posting production schedules
  • Assist with generating work orders and keying production data
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Experience:

  • One-year general work experience required
  • Efficiency in typing, filing and delivering written and verbal communication strongly preferred

Any combination of education/experience may be substituted for job requirements at the recommendation of the hiring manager and approval of the COO or higher.
