Job description

Overview

Facility Coordinator/Clerk Lead (SWFPAC 2026-25317):

Bowhead seeks a Facility Lead to oversee maintaining efficient operations of up to forty-two (42) facilities operated or occupied by MCSFBN personnel. Manage and oversee daily facility management tasks and functions to maintain readiness in support of MCSFBn security operations.

Please note, this position is contingent upon contract award. No third party applications or submissions will be considered.

Responsibilities

Essential functions will include: 

  • Communicate and coordinate with SWFPAC Facilities Department, MCSFBn Safety, and Base Operations Services Contractor (BOSC) personnel to coordinate, schedule, initiate and track facility trouble calls.
  • Assist in development of requests for repairs, minor facility upgrades and modifications in accordance with guidance received from SWFPAC Facilities Department on Regional maintenance contract(s) and in accordance with state, local and federal regulations.
  • Generate work orders and minor projects from reports received and with approval from the Government Technical Assistant (TA) and/or COR.
  • The Authorized Caller(s) for MCSFBn occupied and operated facilities/spaces and coordinate with the respective MCSFBN Facility Manager / designated Government representative for requirements within the facilities and spaces.
  • Request facility and space repairs (trouble calls), and minor upgrade requests from authorized government representatives.
  • Generate and report to appropriate agency /contractor, trouble calls, and minor upgrade
  • Requests, for facilities and spaces such as but not limited to lights, restrooms, walls, grassy areas, facility cameras, door and hardware to include locks/keys/cores.
  • Review daily the Battalion Facility report with the MCSFBn Facility Manager and take appropriate action on facility discrepancies listed in the report.
  • Validate to the maximum extent possible all repair requests prior to taking action / submit report to appropriate agency /contractor.
  • Coordinate with MCSFBn Facility Manager and galley representatives to initiate and track galley equipment and facility maintenance and repair requests.
  • Required to monitor a Government provided call in number for galley personnel to use for requesting repair and maintenance work of galley equipment and facilities.
  • All Facility Work Orders, prior to submission, must have the approval of the designated Government Functional Area Lead / TA and submit all approved work orders to appropriate agency /contractor.
  • Check the state of washers and dryers operating in a maximum of four (4) MCSFBn spaces,
  • Report status to MCSFBn Facility Manager. Upon approval from the MCSFBn Facility Manager, submit work orders for Washers and Dryers as necessary, and track the status and completion of work orders. Status of washers and dryers will be tracked in a Washer/Dryer Report.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED) Bachelor's degree is preferred in a relevant field such as Business Management, Operation Management, Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • A minimum of two years experience related to conducting, building, and fire and safety inspections
  • Three to five years of specialized experience in facility operations, maintenance scheduling, or procurement.
  • Proficient at operating and managing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, Government Representative, and outside contacts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged period amounts of time.
  • Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.
  • High noise levels are common as is the potential exposure to heat/cold, noise, dusts, mist, and/or fumes.

Security Requirements: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level.  US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
