CPH is a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architecture firm that ranks in the nation’s Top 500 Design Firms by ENR Magazine. We are seeking a Civil Designer to join our dynamic and collaborative team in Miami!
The Civil Designer plays an essential role in supporting a wide range of land development, roadway, and underground utility projects. This role focuses on developing detailed technical drawings and designs, calculating material quantities, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.  

Duties Include
  • Prepare accurate presentation, design, and construction documents using Civil 3D.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with the project team, including engineers, architects, designers, consultants, and clients.
  • Interpret relevant codes, regulations, and client requirements to guide the design process.
  • Implement and utilize established CAD standards, templates, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Calculate quantities, areas, and other essential data necessary for land development civil engineering designs.
  • Travel periodically to perform site investigations, take measurements, and observe construction progress, followed by the preparation of detailed reports and exhibits.
  • Assist in compiling construction plans from all disciplines and ensure timely submission to agencies with jurisdiction.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience using Civil 3D 
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with roadway, underground utility, or land development projects 
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with a team
Education and Experience: 
  • Associate’s Degree or Computer -Aided Design Certificate
