Job Title: Registered Nurse

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of strong cardiac ICU experience, ideally from CCU or CVICU.
License: Active nursing license in the applicable jurisdiction.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
Must-Have:
- Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
- Experience with advanced cardiac devices such as LVAD, Impella, and IABP.
- Experience in post-cardiac surgery care and pre/post cardiac catheter interventions.
- Patient ratio experience of 2:1 in ICU settings.
Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled registered nurse to join our team within the cardiopulmonary ICU.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cardiac care and be comfortable managing various cardiac devices and conditions.
Candidates should possess familiarity with Impella, IABP, CRRT, and invasive lines.
The role will involve caring for cardiac and medical intensive care patients, including some step-down overflow.
Nurses will be required to conduct hemodynamic monitoring and provide care for ventilated patients.
Candidates should also be experienced in managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction.
We require the ability to perform tasks such as blood product administration and managing central lines.
Successful applicants will float to various units and provide support to interdisciplinary teams as needed.
This position demands nursing competency in critical care settings and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
The nursing team will have access to additional support services including physical therapy and respiratory services.
Ideal candidates will have experience with EMR systems, particularly with a focus on documentation and patient data management.
