Competitive Range Solutions requires the expertise of a talented and experienced Rapid Response Team Lead to assist in the direction and management of the program's executive support group. The candidate must reference their ability and experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) customer environment and effective integration with a government multi-contractor team.

The Rapid Response Team Lead for Enterprise Transport Network Configuration is pivotal in ensuring the security, reliability, and operational efficiency of the DoD's transport network. This position oversees all aspects of network configuration management, including baseline documentation, testing, validation, and reporting. The candidate will work closely with the DoD guidelines and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) to maintain the highest standards of network security and performance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all network assets, including hardware, software, and documentation, are adequately baselined and configured according to DoD engineering standards. This includes overseeing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) development and maintenance to support IT management practices and process integration.
  • Valid network configurations and systems against DoD'S STIG before deployment. Coordinate with the COR or ACOR to request and access necessary compliance guidelines.
  • Utilize the Unclassified Government system to track all warranty and licensing details for hardware and software across the product lifecycle. Ensure transparency and accessibility to these records for authorized personnel.
  • Provide designated individuals uninterrupted access to the Management Database (MDB). Integrate the configuration management system with external service/agency systems as required, ensuring cohesive and interoperable network environments.
  • Responsible for monthly reports for baseline network configuration list, warranty and licensing tracker, and asset and configuration management report.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • 3+ years as Lead Project Manager
  • 3+ years in DoD IT environment
  • Proven self-management and team-management skills.
  • Ability to monitor and control project budgets.
  • Capability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Must possess expert managerial, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Experience in managing CMDB and integrating IT management practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of consulting with various stakeholders and leadership
  • Proven experience in network configuration and security management, particularly with DoD

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer sciences, business management, or related field (required)
  • PMP
