Position Overview
  • Shift: 2B: Tuesday - Friday, 5:30 PM - 3:30 AM
  • Compensation: $29.55/hour + $1/hour shift differential
Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with all safety regulations, including OSHA standards related to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and safe work practices.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility equipment and conveyance systems. Adhere to preventive maintenance standards and document all work performed for accurate records in our asset management system. Expertise required in PLCs, conveyors, three-phase electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and other related equipment.
  • Report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to maintenance leadership to ensure proper inventory management.
  • Support teammate development by training junior technicians to enhance their troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to complete projects within the distribution centers safely and efficiently.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary to support the operational needs of the distribution center.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree or a two-year vocational technical certificate in a mechanical or electrical field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in welding, burning, and cutting.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, and PLC controls.
  • Familiarity with distribution center-specific software (e.g., Crown PM, Gage) and equipment.
  • Able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings/schematics.
  • Strong safety awareness.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Experience with Lockout/Tagout procedures.
