Schedule: 3:00 PM–3:00 AM

Weekends & Holidays: Required

Job Summary

Blueline Security Services LLC is seeking a dependable, organized, and highly motivated Security Scheduler / Dispatcher to join our growing operations team.

The Security Scheduler / Dispatcher plays a critical role in ensuring that all security posts are properly staffed and that daily operations run smoothly. This position will work closely with the Operations Manager, security officers, supervisors, clients, and dispatch personnel to manage schedules, address staffing shortages, conduct site checks, and respond quickly to operational issues.

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, a sense of urgency, and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires flexibility. The Scheduler / Dispatcher must be willing and able to conduct site checks and, when necessary, fill in for an open security shift to ensure client posts remain properly staffed.

Schedule & Availability
  • Regular shift: 3:00 PM–3:00 AM
  • Must be available to work weekends.
  • Must be available to work holidays as required.
  • Must be flexible to respond to operational and staffing needs.
  • Must be willing to conduct site checks as assigned.
  • Must be willing and able to fill in for an open security shift when necessary.
  • Reliable transportation is required for site checks and operational assignments.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage daily scheduling operations and related administrative functions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date security officer schedules.
  • Review schedules daily to ensure all posts are properly covered.
  • Identify staffing shortages and open shifts and work quickly to secure coverage.
  • Communicate with officers regarding schedules, shift assignments, call-outs, late arrivals, and coverage needs.
  • Coordinate coverage for last-minute call-outs and open shifts.
  • Fill in for open security shifts when coverage cannot be secured and operational needs require it.
  • Conduct routine site checks to verify officers are on post, in proper uniform, following post orders, and meeting Blueline and client expectations.
  • Report site check findings to the Operations Manager and document any concerns or violations.
  • Support client requests for additional security services, schedule changes, and staffing adjustments.
  • Communicate efficiently and professionally with clients, officers, supervisors, and management.
  • Provide frequent updates to the Operations Manager regarding staffing deficiencies, attendance concerns, client requests, and operational issues.
  • Monitor officer attendance and assist with ensuring officers report to their assigned posts on time.
  • Assist with resolving scheduling conflicts and operational issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling records, communications, and documentation.
  • Utilize Belfry and other available systems to improve scheduling efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Assist with developing and implementing procedures to improve scheduling, staffing, communication, and overall operational performance.
  • Assist the Operations Manager with administrative and operational duties as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling employee, client, and company information.
Required Skills & Abilities
  • Previous experience in scheduling, dispatch, security operations, or administration preferred.
  • Previous security industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Belfry is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with security officers, clients, supervisors, and all levels of management.

Work Environment

This position operates in both an office and field environment. The Security Scheduler / Dispatcher will be required to balance administrative scheduling responsibilities with field operations, including site checks and emergency staffing coverage.

The position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, respond quickly to staffing emergencies, and maintain professional communication with officers, clients, and management.
