Job description

Job Summary:
Provides operational support.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Record daily temperature for refrigerators, freezers, and incubators.

  • Clean and maintain assigned equipment.

  • Aliquot solutions.

  • Assist in preparation of samples before processing.

  • Organize sample storage.

  • Receive and unpack supplies.

  • Scan and file documents according to the laboratory protocols.

  • Provide administrative assistance.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

  • Adheres to the Code of Conduct as outlined in the Baylor Genetics' Compliance Program.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education:

  • Required: HS or GED

  • Experience:

  • Preferred: 1 year laboratory experience

  • Certification/Licenses/Registration: NA

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Frequently required to sit

  • Frequently required to stand

  • Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity

  • Frequently required to talk or hear
