At Values Into Action, we partner with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to design and live their best lives as active members of their communities. We believe in inclusion, respect, and self-determination—and we’re looking for team members who share these values.


What You’ll Do As a Support Partner, you’ll work one-on-one with a person in their home and community. Your role is about partnership, not “doing for”—you’ll support with daily living activities, community engagement, and personal goals. This includes:

  • Personal care (bathing, eating, dressing, grooming, transferring with a Hoyer lift)
  • Transportation using a wheelchair-accessible van
  • Medication administration and healthcare appointments
  • Household tasks like shopping and cleaning
  • Supporting technology use (iPads, laptops, Alexa)
  • Encouraging community involvement and recreation

Schedule

  • Full-time or part-time position available!

Monday & Tuesday: 3PM - 11PM


OR


7AM - 3PM Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Saturday

Pay

  • $21/hour

Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • 18 years of age or older
  • at least 1 year experience supporting people to live in the community
  • current CPR/First Aid/AED certification preferred
  • CNA preferred but not required
  • must have valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • must be creative in the community
  • Be or willing to be Covid-19 Vaccinated prior to employment
  • Personal or professional experience with people with intellectual disabilities and a mental health diagnosis is a plus but not a requirement
