We're hiring and we want difference makers who will inspire children to become lifelong learners.  The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group's safety vision.  In the Director's absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have at least 2 years of Assistant Director experience in a licensed child care center 
  • Associates or Bachelors in ECE or related field is preferred 
  • Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
  • Must have the North Carolina level 1, 2, or 3 credential
