Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)Join Our Leadership Team and Make a Difference

The Emerald Peek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our clinical leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate nursing professional who is committed to clinical excellence, staff development, and high-quality resident care in a skilled nursing environment.

The ADON plays a key role in supporting the Director of Nursing in managing daily nursing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of resident care.

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily clinical operations

  • Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure quality care delivery

  • Help manage staffing, scheduling, and clinical workflows

  • Monitor documentation, care plans, and regulatory compliance

  • Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives

  • Assist with survey preparedness and regulatory audits

  • Support staff education, mentorship, and professional development

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Qualifications
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license

  • Prior leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting

  • Experience as ADON, Unit Manager, Nurse Supervisor, or similar leadership role preferred

  • Strong knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to lead teams and drive quality clinical outcomes

Salary: Up to $130,000 per year
