Job description

The AssistantDirector, Enrollment Operations serves as an operational leader within MedforthGlobal Education's (MGE) Admissions Operations team, with primaryresponsibility for International admissions operations, training, qualityassurance, and regional process governance. This role provides directleadership to the International Senior Enrollment Coordinators and Enrollment Coordinators,while serving as a key partner to the Director of Admission Operations inmaintaining data accuracy, workflow consistency, and operational excellencewithin the International team.

The AssistantDirector works closely with the Director of Admission Operations and the Admissionsleadership team to ensure operational processes effectively support recruitmentstrategy, applicant progression, and successful enrollment outcomes forInternational students.

EssentialFunctions

Leadership &Supervision

  • Serve as a leader within Admissions Operations for the International team, providing day-to-day leadership and operational decision-making support.
  • Provide direct supervisory leadership to Senior Enrollment Coordinators and Enrollment Coordinators, ensuring strong performance, accountability, and adherence to admissions standards.
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, performance coaching, and workload oversight to support accuracy, efficiency, and professional development.
  • Serve as the primary operational escalation point for International admissions processing, data, and workflow issues. Ensure appropriate coverage, continuity, and prioritization of work during peak cycles or staff absences.

Training, QualityAssurance & Audits (International Team Only)

  • Establish and enforce audit standards, quality benchmarks, and training expectations for the International team.
  • Lead the design, delivery, and ongoing evaluation of training programs specific to International admissions processes and data accuracy.
  • Conduct regular reviews of applicant files, Salesforce documentation, checklist completion, and communication standards within the International team.
  • Identify regional error trends, root causes, and training gaps; implement corrective actions and targeted retraining as needed.
  • Partner closely with the Director of Admission Operations to maintain clear standards for accuracy and compliance within International admissions processing.

Process Flow& Regional Operational Governance

  • Own and continuously refine International admissions workflows to ensure clarity, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Partner with the Director of Admission Operations to ensure International processes align with broader admissions standards and expectations.
  • Evaluate existing International workflows to identify inefficiencies, rework, or inconsistencies and implement improvements to reduce errors and turnaround time.
  • Ensure International-specific processes are clearly documented and accessible to support training, audits, and operational continuity.

Data Integrity& International Oversight

  • Oversee and ensure data quality assurance for the International team, with Salesforce and related systems reflecting accurate, complete, and timely information.
  • Partner closely with the Director of Admission Operations to maintain clean, audit-ready data across all admissions populations, serving as a key escalation point for complex data issues.
  • Monitor International applicant processing trends and recommend adjustments to staffing, workflow allocation, or training initiatives as needed.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for International admissions data requirements and region-specific nuances.

Cross-DepartmentCollaboration

  • Work collaboratively with Admissions, Admissions Operations, Registrar, Financial Aid, Bursar, IT, and partner teams to ensure smooth applicant transitions.
  • Work closely with the other Assistant Director of Admissions Operations to align operational workflows, service standards, and applicant progression expectations.
  • Represent International Admissions Operations in operational and pod meetings, providing insights on performance trends and process improvements.
  • Support regional initiatives, system enhancements, and compliance efforts impacting International admissions.
  • Work collaboratively with the Director of Admissions Operations and the Assistant Director or Admissions on workflow improvements, policy clarifications, and training needs.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide operational coverage during peak periods to ensure uninterrupted service to applicants, students, staff and faculty.
  • Support institutional initiatives and special projects as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with all institutional policies and regulatory standards.
  • Perform other duties and special projects assigned by leadership

Preferred

  • Experience supporting international admissions processes.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Banner, OnBase, or comparable CRM/ERP systems.
  • Prior involvement in audit, compliance, or process improvement initiatives.
