We are hiring, an Assistant Director of Operations

Chick-fil-A Atlantic Avenue is looking for an Assistant Director of Operations to join our leadership team and help drive growth, efficiency, and exceptional guest experiences.

The Assistant Director of Operations, plays a vital role in overseeing restaurant operations, supporting team development, and ensuring service excellence. The Assistant Director closely supports the Directors to enhance operational processes, and develop leaders within the team. This role is ideal for someone with a heart for service and a drive to grow both people and business.

This opportunity is available for single unit restaurant, located in Atlantic Avenue, Delray.

Key Responsibilities

Provides support to the Directors in the following:

  • Leads and manages daily restaurant operations during assigned day-parts to ensure excellence in service, cleanliness, quality, and safety.
  • Coaches and mentors Team Leaders and Team Members, helping them grow through intentional training and leadership development.
  • Executes strategies that drive key performance metrics including Speed of Service, CEMs, Food Waste, and Labor Costs.
  • Supports the execution of community events, catering orders, and brand-building initiatives alongside the Director Team.
  • Analyzes sales and operational reports to maintain financial health and meet performance targets.
  • Ensures ongoing compliance with Florida labor laws, food safety regulations, and Chick-fil-A’s corporate and local standards.
  • Leads Team Huddles and build systems that create consistency in guest experience.
  • Performs and oversees end-of-month inventory counts and sales forecasting.
  • Promotes and upholds the culture, vision, and purpose of Chick-fil-A Atlantic Avenue daily.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • High school diploma is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Availability to work 40+ hours/week including weeknights and Saturdays.
  • Ability to lift 25+ lbs. and stand for extended periods
  • Must have 2 years experience leading in a hospitality, restaurant or quick service industry.
  • Prior experience coaching, mentoring and leading a team is required.
