Position Overview

The Encore at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care. The ADON plays a key leadership role in maintaining regulatory compliance, staff development, and clinical excellence within our skilled nursing facility.

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Nursing in managing daily nursing operations
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state (Florida), and local regulations, including AHCA guidelines
  • Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)
  • Participate in staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions
  • Monitor clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives
  • Oversee infection control, risk management, and patient safety programs
  • Assist with surveys and audits, ensuring survey readiness at all times
