Primary Duties & Responsibilities
• Work per standard operating procedures in Testing Optical Fibers
• Document the manufacturing process as required
• Perform basic equipment maintenance & calibration
• Assist recommending solutions to technical problems
• May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment
• Assist engineers as needed
• Cross-training in other areas as needed
Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years experience in manufacturing / lab environment
Previous experience or practice executing delicate tasks with small, fragile parts
• Computer literacy including data entry in Excel
• Ability to see details at close range
• Excellent hand to eye coordination
Safety Requirements
