Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Center Infrastructure Engineer to support mission-critical infrastructure operations across server, storage, backup, and monitoring environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Dell, Cisco UCS, HPE servers, SAN/NAS storage platforms, enterprise backup solutions, and data center operations.
Key Skills
  • Hardware installation, maintenance, and break-fix support for Dell, Cisco UCS, and HPE server platforms.
  • Storage administration and support for SAN/NAS environments, including Pure Storage, Isilon, and NetApp.
  • Backup and recovery management using Commvault and Data Domain.
  • Working knowledge of Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools.
  • Infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting using tools such as LogicMonitor, Elasticsearch, and related platforms.
  • Strong understanding of incident, change, and problem management processes.
  • Knowledge of information security, compliance, and operational best practices.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and provide break-fix support for Dell, Cisco UCS, and HPE server infrastructure.
  • Manage and support SAN/NAS storage platforms, including Pure Storage, Isilon, and NetApp environments.
  • Administer backup and recovery operations using Commvault and Data Domain technologies.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of mission-critical production services operating in a 24x7 environment.
  • Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot infrastructure components, including operating systems, storage, network connectivity, and applications.
  • Execute scheduled maintenance activities, including patching, upgrades, firmware updates, and hardware replacements.
  • Provide operational support across Production, Development, and QA environments.
  • Follow and improve operational processes related to incident management, change management, and service communications.
  • Participate in on-call support rotations to ensure service continuity.
  • Develop and maintain deployment and operational scripts where applicable.
  • Respond promptly to production alerts, incidents, and customer escalations.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure infrastructure health and performance visibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues and support ongoing infrastructure improvements.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise data center infrastructure.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing SAN/NAS storage platforms, including Pure Storage, Isilon, and NetApp.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience administering enterprise backup solutions, preferably Commvault and Data Domain.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across infrastructure technologies.
  • Good understanding of information security principles, compliance requirements, and risk management practices.
  • Experience working in production environments supporting critical business applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with DCIM platforms and infrastructure monitoring tools.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of automation and scripting for infrastructure operations.
  • Industry certifications related to Storage, Backup, Infrastructure, or Data Center Operations are a plus.
