Data Analyst
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science and/or minimum 5 years equivalent work experience.
Reports to: Director of Technology
Job Goal: Under the supervision of the Director of Technology, the Data Analyst supports the district staff and major technology initiatives. The Data Analyst is also responsible for setting up and maintaining enterprise applications as identified by the Director of Technology.
Performance Responsibilities:
  1. Identify software resources; collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and the Assistant Superintendent on evaluating resources for curricular suitability and with the Director of Technology on evaluating them for hardware, software, and systems compatibility; ensure student and staff enrollment in selected resources.
  2. Support administrators, teachers, students, and parents, as appropriate, with software resources; assist in the distribution and setup of instructional software to administrators, teachers, and students.
  3. Assist administrators and teachers with implementation of online assessments.
  4. Serve as the district webmaster and alert manager.
  5. Conduct ongoing evaluation of technology resources and make budget recommendations.
  6. Management of online standardized assessment platforms including NWEA Map Growth, NWEA Through Year, IXL Flex Diagnostic, and ADAM Science Assessment.
  7. Performing data collection and analysis on assessment data and usage data from instructional software.
