Job description

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Gastroenterologist with an IBD focus to join an established IBD Center located in downtown Dallas, Texas. The expanding multidisciplinary IBD team is led by an IBD Medical Director and includes Advanced Practitioners, a Registered Dietitian, an RN navigator and a comprehensive clinical care team. The practice is experiencing significant growth and has an excellent tertiary-referral base, comprised of employed and affiliated PCPs, GI providers and colorectal surgeons. This is an employed career opportunity with a generous benefits package that offers work-life balance, a competitive salary, a moving allowance, and no state income tax.

Opportunity Highlights

  • Comprehensive, integrated IBD Center comprised of IBD and colorectal specialists, a dedicated 4-chair infusion center for IBD patients, on-site laboratory, and shared medical/surgical office space to streamline care and enhance team collaboration

  • Highly collaborative multidisciplinary model, including biweekly IBD conferences and close partnership with colorectal surgery, pathology, radiology, and hospital-based specialties

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine
  • Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
  • Where Applicable- Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
