Platte Valley Companies
JOB SUMMARY:
Assist the Bank Card Services Manager in all aspects of daily operations, including customer service and card processing. Provide support in the issuance, maintenance, and servicing of debit and credit cards. Responsibilities include assisting customers with inquiries, processing payments, maintaining accurate records, and running and balancing daily reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
a. Answer customer inquiries
b. Process new credit card applications
c. Assist with card issuance and activation.
d. Pull and monitor daily reports
e. Make calls to customers
f. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly account balancing
g. Maintain data on cardholders
h. Maintain customer and company files
i. Assist with resolving simple merchant inquiries
j. Assist with the research and resolution of cardholder disputes and chargebacks
k. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Must possess Basic PC skills (use of Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook).).
3. Must demonstrate proficiency in processing tasks and administrative functions. .
4. Possess good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and efficiently manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
5. Possess flexibility to manage last minute requests.
6. General areas of competency: decision making, dependability, development, environmental safety, evaluation skills, interpersonal skills, prioritizing, problem solving, selling skills, team skills and time management.
7. Demonstrated aptitude to manage sensitive operational transactions and customer relationships.
8. Professional appearance.
9. Ability to function as a team player.
10. Effective oral and written communication skills (including telephone).
11. Must be Self-sufficient / self-starting.
12. Ability to adjust to flexible hours.
13. PC and Desktop experience required.
14. Must be capable of working with and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Physical Requirements:
Light Work - exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
