Open Position: Retail Project Manager

The primary purpose of this position is to support business transformation initiatives for Centris's Retail Financial Services division in support of our mission to be a trusted life-long financial partner. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities for operational improvement, supporting the resolution of business challenges, and leading small-scale change initiatives to improve the member and employee experience, operational effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Leadership:
    • Provide leadership to the organization and staff by promoting and modeling the Centris Vision, Mission, Values and Team Principles.
    • Support and participate in community involvement initiatives.
  • Business Analysis & Process Improvement:
    • Analyze business processes and operational challenges to identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Support the assessment of business opportunities and operational initiatives by gathering information, documenting findings, and providing recommendations.
    • Assist in the design of future-state processes and workflows that improve operational effectiveness, member experience, and regulatory compliance.
    • Document business and system requirements in partnership with business stakeholders, Information Technology, and vendor partners.
    • Participate in system testing activities to validate that solutions function as intended and meet business requirements.
    • Monitor process effectiveness and identify opportunities for standardization, automation, and continuous improvement.
    • Develop knowledge of Retail operations and provide operational input on initiatives impacting Retail processes.
    • Project & Initiative Support:
        • Participate in Retail and enterprise initiatives while managing assigned workstreams, tasks, and deliverables.
    • Retail Operations Support:
      • Develop knowledge of Retail operations and provide operational input on initiatives impacting Retail processes.
        • Assist with reviewing operational and regulatory changes to determine impacts to Retail processes and procedures.
        • Support updates to policies, procedures, and operational materials as needed.
        • Partner with business units to ensure operational considerations are incorporated into project planning and implementation.
        • Provide exceptional service to internal and external members in accordance with Centris Service Promises.

      Requirements

      1. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Organizational Leadership, or related field or equivalent related work experience.
      2. Minimum three years of experience in a financial institution, retail banking, business operations, project coordination, business analysis, training, change management, or related field.
      3. Experience supporting projects, process improvements, operational initiatives, or system implementations preferred.
      4. Experience with business process documentation, testing, training development, or change management preferred.
      5. Must have the ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
      6. Must be able to effectively communicate with members, staff, vendors and other business contacts.
      7. Must be able to effectively lead and manage others.
      8. Must be able to effectively present information and concepts to a small or moderate sized group.
      9. Must be able to effectively access and interpret computer screens, documents, and reports.
      10. Must be able to operate general office equipment.
      11. Must report to work regularly and on time.
      12. Must be able to travel in and out of state to various work locations.
      13. Must be able to work the hours necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
      14. Must be knowledgeable in BSA and compliance requirements enforced on the credit union by state and federal law as applicable.
      15. Must present a professional image.
      16. Must be bondable.
