Job description

A Learning Bee Academy opened in November 2017 and has a maximum enrollment capacity of 300 children, ages ranging from toddler to five years old. We promote kindergarten readiness, ensuring all students master letters, sounds, numbers 1-30, shapes and colors, and become
independent thinkers. Our STEM Preschool curriculum focuses on mastering numbers 1-100, 50 sight words, early literacy, critical thinking  skills, high cognitive skills, and an understanding of STEM concepts. We operate with a kids-first philosophy, requiring a strong respect for and love of children in all staff members.
We seek warm, imaginative, bright, flexible, and creative staff members who can effectively plan and problem solve to teach our amazing  students. The Director must have the ability to understand and a willingness to work with a range of learning styles. We expect staff to be involved and active in our school community and participate in the ongoing development and refinement of our school’s curriculum, policy, and procedures. Confidence, professionalism, and a sense of humor are important characteristics.

Key Responsibilities
We seek a Director who can conduct the following duties, demonstrating professionalism and effective communication with parents, students, and staff.
Program and Instructional Leadership:
  • Develop educational programs and standards.
  • Maintain instructional excellence.
  • Assist staff in communicating with parents and children.
  • Meet with parents and staff to discuss students’ progress.

Staff Management:
  • Supervise preschool teachers and childcare workers.
  • Assist with hiring and training new staff members.
  • Provide professional development opportunities for staff.

Administration and Operations:
  • Prepare budgets and allocate program funds.
  • Adhere to established policies and communicate them to staff and parents.
  • Ensure that facilities are maintained and cleaned according to state regulations.
  • Participate as a member of the executive leadership team.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education
  • A minimum of one year of experience working in a childcare facility.
  • Background check, TB test, and Drug test
