Job Summary
We are an assisted living facility seeking a talented Cook to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating innovative menus and preparing delicious meals for our residents. The ideal candidate is experienced, creative, and able to manage other kitchen staff. If you have a passion for preparing meals and working with seniors, we want to hear from you. 
Responsibilities: 
  • Prepare three meals daily for up to 30 residents
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in kitchen 
  • Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to other kitchen staff
  • Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and assist management with ordering groceries and supplies
  • Follow all food safety regulations 
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a chef or cook
  • Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
  • Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong leadership skills
