Job description

Content Development

  • Review and prepare communication materials for internal and external audiences, including executive profiles, background materials, website content, and newsletters.
  • Edit, proofread, and coordinate the production and distribution of printed and digital communication materials to ensure consistency, professionalism, brand alignment, and adherence to established communication standards.
  • Collaborates with departmental partners to help determine appropriate messaging, content structure, formatting, and visual presentation for communication materials and summaries for leadership.

Communication Coordination and Social Media Support

  • Coordinates communication request intake processes, tracks communication projects and deliverables, and assists in maintaining project timelines to support effective workflow management and timely completion of assignments.
  • Supports the development, maintenance, and distribution of social media content aligned with executive communication strategies and institutional priorities.

Content and communication technology support

  • Utilizes communication technologies, digital platforms, project tracking systems, and content management tools to support the communication strategy and operational objectives of the President's Office and executive leadership.
  • Update and maintain communication archives like Docuware, templates, editorial calendars, and related records to support departmental organization and continuity.

General Communication Support

  • Support the coordination and maintenance of departmental and executive office email accounts, including monitoring shared inboxes, routing communication requests, responding to routine inquiries, organizing correspondence, and ensuring timely follow-up on assigned items.
  • Maintains communication calendars, distribution lists, contact databases, and electronic records to support effective communication planning and operational organization.

General Operation and Administrative Communication Support

  • Provides general operational and administrative support to communications staff and executive office personnel, including scheduling support, meeting coordination, document preparation, event communication assistance, and support for special projects and initiatives.
  • May provide general operational support for executive events and strategic engagement activities as assigned.
