Job Summary

The Concessions Supervisor is responsible for directing and responding to guest questions and needs. The Supervisor is responsible for 3-4 stands during the event and the initial set up of products. The supervisor should understand the content of the menu and ensure the timely delivery of food. Strict following of food and safety guidelines are required. The server is responsible for executing area setup and breakdown. The supervisor oversees the breakdown of the event once it is concluded.
Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Meets with the directors before teh evet to go over details.
  • Supervises staff during check-ins and breakdowns for the zone that they cover (3-4 zones).
  • Ensures all food and beverage is properly displayed and maintained throughout the event.
  • Knowledgeable on all menu offerings.
  • Establishes rapport with guests and understands suggestive and upselling techniques.
  • Determine where guests would like to eat their meals and help them get situated.
  • Thoroughly completes all event set-up and breakdown responsibilities within timelines provided.
  • Performs post event product inventory and restocks, as needed.
  • Create, modify and close sales checks in point of sale.
  • Understands all event paperwork and reports.
  • Adheres to location appearance guidelines.
  • Supervises and completes the open stand sheet and the closing stand sheet.
  • Maintains service areas.
  • Employs good safety and sanitation practices.
  • Follows responsible alcohol service policiesMeets with the directors before the event to go over details.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Essential Job Duties:

  • Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
  • Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day.
  • Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
