Hybrid 1-day remote schedule after 45-day period

Salary –100k, DOE
Work Schedule- 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. OR 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m
Job Summary of the Litigation Legal Assistant position
Integr8staff seeks an experienced and proven Civil Litigation Legal Assistant for a nationally-recognized and award-winning law firm based in downtown San Diego, CA. This is a phenomenal opportunity to establish yourself with a growing firm with a promising future.
Responsibilities of the Litigation Legal Assistant position
Format, input, edit, retrieve, copy, scan, and transmit legal documents
Prepare pleadings and discovery documents for filing and service 
Schedule depositions with attorneys, clients, witnesses, and court reporters
e-Filing – State and Federal
Manage and plan calendar of all appointments, conferences and meetings
Daily review and prioritization of client correspondence and communications
Create pleading/discovery binders, indexing and filing documents, organize and file case documents.
Client Intakes, editing contracts and handling mailings
Schedule conference calls and on-site/off-site meetings
Prepare draft engagement and confirming letters as needed
Prepare and submit new matters; change intakes for existing matters concerning adverse parties and billing contact and other information and collaborate as needed
Prepare and submit preliminary conflict checks on behalf of the Partner
Arrange and coordinate travel arrangements
Partner timesheets, expense summaries, and client bills
Assists with overflow work and other projects as assigned
Performs overflow typing, filing, or photocopying as time permits and as requested by other attorneys
Maintain client confidence by keeping client/attorney information confidential
Requirements of the Litigation Legal Assistant position
Minimum of 4 yrs. of civil litigation experience
Excellent administrative, follow-up, initiative, and organizational skills are required.
e-Filing and calendaring experience
Calendaring using CompuLaw, experience with iManage
Knowledge of preparing tables of contents and authorities.
Excellent proofreading and writing skills, and great attention to detail
Excellent typing, formatting, and computer software skills needed
Knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Adobe Pro and iManage or similar document management system
Knowledge of CompuLaw, Best Authority, Kofax, and CCC Macros is a plus
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
