Responsibilities
  • Assists and coordinates proposal efforts, including managing the proposal schedule, coordinating with internal teams and subconsultants, and developing the layout, design, and writing of non-technical sections.
  • Write, design, edit, and proofread proposals, qualifications, marketing collateral, and presentations.
  • Update and maintain resumes, project descriptions, and content libraries.
  • Design graphics for marketing materials.
  • Assist and perform market research to support business development efforts and identify potential opportunities.
  • Organize and manage proposal documentation, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to gather relevant data and ensure accurate representation of project capabilities.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining templates and standards for marketing and proposal materials.
  • Coordinate post-proposal follow-up, including tracking submissions and client feedback.
  • Other related marketing duties, as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field (Required)
  • Excellent writing, editing, communication, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable using AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI, ChatGPT)
  • Experience with creating and reviewing graphic design and page layout using Adobe InDesign
  • Ability to multitask effectively and work well in a deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of Open Asset a plus
  • Tech-savvy and a self-starter

The pay range for this position in California is $30.00 to $35.00 per hour. Base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
