Job description

South Bend Clinic, a member of Duly Health and Care, is seeking an enthusiastic and driven experienced Gastroenterologist to join our highly reputable physician-led, multi-specialty group. This is an outstanding opportunity to join the largest physician-owned multi-specialty clinic in Indiana with an established patient population and strong built-in referral base.

Competitive base salary starting at $600,000 annually.

We are seeking a Gastroenterologist to collaborate closely with our established General Surgery team consisting of five surgeons. This position offers immediate volume, excellent support staff, and access to a highly efficient ambulatory surgery center.

Practice Highlights:
  • Shared Medical Assistants (4.0 FTEs) and Schedulers (2.0 FTEs)
  • One Nurse Practitioner currently supports the General Surgery team
  • Anticipated addition of another scheduler upon hire based on patient volume
  • Strong built-in referral base and significant backlog of colonoscopy orders, ensuring a busy practice from day one
ASC & Procedure Suite:
  • Highly efficient ASC with two dedicated procedure rooms
  • Dedicated GI RN and Tech support for each room
  • Colonoscopy turnover time: 2030 minutes
  • EGD turnover time: approximately 15 minutes
  • Goal volume of at least 70 colonoscopy cases weekly
  • ASC operates Monday through Friday
  • GI pre-op and post-op areas are isolated from other surgery cases
  • Both IV sedation and anesthesia options available
  • Equipment includes Olympus 180 series high-definition scopes, Erbe, Endoscope, and Medivator systems
